Sedekah and infaq are noble acts of giving money or wealth to those in need, with the pure intention of spreading goodness and virtue, all for the sake of seeking the pleasure of Allah.

Hadith of the Prophet SAW:

"Whoever spends (his wealth) twice in the way of Allah, he will be called to enter through the gate of Paradise. 'O servant of Allah, this is good.' Whoever performs a lot of prayers will be called (to enter Paradise) through the gate of prayer. Whoever engages in a lot of jihad will be called through the gate of jihad. Whoever fasts a lot will be called through the gate of fasting. And whoever gives a lot of charity will be called through the gate of charity."
